CYPRUS: New fuel increases (prices)

kafsima2

Fuel prices have risen in the Cypriot market, following the opening up of the economy and the free movement of citizens following the restrictive measures imposed by the coronation.

Speaking to Economy Today, the President of the Association of Practitioners, Stefanos Stefanou, said that the increase is of the order of 8 cents per liter for unleaded 95 and 98 octane and about 3,5 cents for diesel.

According to him, the increase in prices is not due to Cypriot activity, but to the increase in the international price of crude oil after the opening of the world's economies, which significantly increased demand, as several countries have lifted the restrictive measures resulting in the manufacturing process, which has required oil to move, has resumed.
