CYPRUS: The Police made 44 complaints for traffic violations

There were two road collisions, one of which with minor injuries

The Paphos Police Department made 44 complaints during a coordinated operation as part of the campaign to reduce road collisions, burglaries and thefts.

According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, 24 complaints were made during the 44-hour period.

Of these, 13 concerned speeding, one complaint related to driving using a mobile phone, two to driving without safety and the other 28 minor offenses.

There were also two road collisions, one with minor injuries and the other with only material damage.

In addition, Mr. Ioannou advised the public, as follows the rules of the traffic code, to respect each other and to drive defensively.
