A fire broke out at 14:11 between Aredios and Ag. Ioannis Malountas mentions in his Twitter post the spokesperson of the Fire Brigade Andreas Kettis.
Two firefighting vehicles of the Ministry of Defense are operating to extinguish it, one vehicle from the Forest Department and one from the Thera Fund. The 2 aircraft from Israel are also responding for help.
According to the post, the latest information from the fire brigade states that there are individual houses near the ongoing fire.
