The Pancyprian Examinations Guide with all the information regarding the Pancyprian Examinations 2019, has been posted on the website of the Examinations Service (www.moec.gov.cy/ypexams), as announced by the Service, according to an announcement of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Pancyprian Examinations, according to the Program which is posted on the website of the Examination Service and is attached to the Guide, start with the course of Modern Greek on May 20 and end on June 13, 2019.

The submission of applications for participation in the Pancyprian Examinations starts on March 5 and ends on March 14, 2019.

The Pancyprian Examinations Guide, published in accordance with Article 27 of the Law on Conduct of Pancyprian Examinations of 2006 and its amendments, is an annual publication of the Examination Service of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

The aim of this publication is to inform the candidates on all issues related to the Pancyprian Examinations.

The purpose of the Pancyprian Examinations is, both the issuance of a Baccalaureate to senior students, as well as the issuance of the Certificate of Access and the General Classification Grade, based on which the places granted by the Higher and Higher Educational Institutions of Cyprus (A) are distributed. of Greece.

The distribution of places for the HEIs of Cyprus, the Military Schools and the Schools of Fine Arts of Greece is handled by the Examination Service, based on the provisions of the Law on Pancyprian Examinations, 22 (I) 2006.

The distribution of places in Greek Universities, TEI, ASPAITE, Higher Schools of Tourism Education and Higher Ecclesiastical Academies, for the graduates of Cypriot Secondary Education Schools, who according to the Greek Legislation fall into the category of Foreigners - Foreigners or Allogeneic EU Members), is done by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religions of Greece, based on the results of the Pancyprian Examinations.

The Pancyprian Examination Guide 2019 consists of three volumes: Volume I includes the general information about the conduct of the examinations, the process of allocating places, the examination program, the grouping of the Schools and the examined courses according to the Access Framework, including the access conditions. It also includes general information about the HEIs of Cyprus and the Military Schools of Greece.

Volume II includes the exam material (which is consistent with the thematic areas / units according to the WEU - Success and Adequacy Indicators) and the exam papers of the Pancyprian Examinations 2018 or sample exam papers concerning the examined courses of the Lyceums and the Lyceums Schools. The first part of the volume includes the access and dismissal courses while the second part the dismissal courses.

The third volume includes the examined material and sample examination essays that concern the examined courses of the Technical Schools (Technologies of Theoretical and Practical Direction). The aim of the Examination Service is the complete, in every respect, ensuring the smooth procedures of conducting the Pancyprian Examinations and the distribution of the positions. The selection of the most capable for studies in Higher and Higher Education Institutions ensures the citizen the feeling of meritocracy and equality and promotes the most effective utilization of the human resources of Cyprus, which leads to social and economic progress and development.

The applications of the senior students of Public Lyceums and Technical Schools will be submitted in electronic form, at the Application Concentration Centers (CSA) that will operate in every public Lyceum and public Technical School of the Republic of Cyprus from Tuesday, March 5, 2019 until Thursday, 14 March 2019.

The applications of all graduates as well as the graduates of Private Schools, Public Evening High Schools and Public Evening Technical Schools will be submitted from Tuesday, March 5, 2019 until Thursday, March 14, 2019.

Candidates who take part in the Pancyprian Examinations only for the purpose of dismissal state in the application their examination courses, in accordance with the applicable Regulations on the Operation of Public Secondary Schools. If the candidates reside abroad, they can send the application for participation in the Pancyprian Examinations 2019 in printed form by mail, to the address: Examination Service Post. Candidates pay fees to attend the Pancyprian Examinations for the purpose of Access to the HEIs of Cyprus and Greece, which are set for 2019 at € 25.00 for each examined access course. For the Practical Examination the examination fee amounts to € 50.00. Candidates who take part in the Pancyprian Examinations only for the purpose of dismissal are exempted from the obligation to pay fees. The fees are not refundable to the candidates in case of withdrawal and non-re-submission of their application.
