The Secretariat of OELMEK will have a meeting today with the Director of Secondary General Education Kyprianos Louis and officials of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth.
In his statements to KYPE, the President of OELMEK Costas Hadjisavvas said that "at 13.00 we have a meeting at the Ministry of Education on issues related to the learning context for the second four months in relation to the useful teaching time, when will his classes end of the second four months so that we can calculate the teaching period, if it is necessary to make adjustments in some examined courses ".
"The Minister of Education agreed to hold meetings of the Associations of Specialties of the examined courses, ie the Councils that we have with the respective inspectors, in order to evaluate learning frameworks, ie the material in relation to the purely teaching time", he stated.
"The second examination period is pending, the program, when it will be done, how it will be done, there is a feedback week that the students must be at school. It is the movement of the writing that needs to be corrected, that needs some extension because the teachers do not catch up. "These are serious issues that I hope the meeting will provide some solutions," he concluded.
