The Taxation Department will investigate the financial obligations of the Holy Monastery of St. Avvakum towards the state, as informed by the KYPE.
According to the same information, following the reports of the last few days about the circulation of large sums of money in the Monastery, the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, Giorgos Pantelis, will today ask the Commissioner of Taxation, Sotiris Markidis, to investigate the whole matter.
It is recalled that the six-member Synodal Court is meeting today for the case of the Holy Monastery of St. Avvakum.
