On the occasion of the spread of the new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the Consumer Protection Service wishes to inform travelers who have purchased package travel (ie a combination of at least two travel services purchased from one point of sale at a total price) for their rights in accordance with the Organized Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Law of 2017 (Law 186 (I) / 2017).

If you have booked a tour but have not yet left for your trip, consult your travel agent and the Foreign Office immediately to find out if an official warning has been issued for your destination country. According to the law, both the traveler and the organizer have the right to cancel the organized trip before the start, without paying any charge, in case of outbreaks of serious illness at the destination or very close to it, which affects significantly affect the execution of the package or significantly affect the transport of passengers to the destination.

In case of cancellation of an organized trip, the traveler is entitled within fourteen (14) days to a full refund of all amounts paid for the package, but is not entitled to additional compensation.

In case you have bought a package trip and due to the situation with the new SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus you are trapped abroad, the organizer is obliged to provide you with assistance by providing appropriate information about health services, local authorities and the consulate. assistance as well as covering the cost of the necessary accommodation, up to three (3) nights, if it is impossible to ensure the return of the traveler as agreed in the package tour.
