The Director of Prisons in a private meeting expressed the admiration for his work and the special sensitivity and support he shows to the poor people, emphasizing that as the Director of Prisons "we support all the people who are in Prison and especially the poor without discrimination, religious and others ".
At the same time, the Director of Prisons expressed her gratitude for the transfer of 10 illegal immigrants detained by the Prisons to the Vatican. Finally, the Director presented the Pope with a gift of a handmade violin made by the prisoners for Pope Francis.
