Research reveals the 10 most economical destinations in the world for sunny holidays based on accommodation prices and hours of sunshine per day.
The list includes a city in Cyprus and a Greek island!
In order to create the ranking, the company's experts took into account the average price of a night in a double room based on data from Kayak and the average number of hours of sunshine per day using data from Climate-Data.org. Among the 10 most economical sunny destinations in the world, as emerged from the combination of results, is a Greek island. And this is none other than Rhodes.
At the top of the list of the cheapest destinations with the most sun are Tirana with 9,5 hours of sunshine daily and an average cost of accommodation in a double room at 49 euros. In second place is Denpasar, the capital of Bali (8,6 hours of sunshine per day and accommodation costs 51 euros), while in third place is Johannesburg in South Africa (9,1 hours of sunshine and 65 euros accommodation costs).
