The Head of the Examination Service, Dimitris Chandriotis, in his statements to KYPE, said that the grades are progressing and added that they will continue with the grades, the visual checks, the registrations, "until we manage to get the results for dismissal purposes", as he said.

Asked when the results are expected for both dismissal and admission to the universities of Cyprus, Mr. Chandriotis said that they are expected towards the last week of June, so that they can be sent to schools so that they can graduate, while for the distribution of positions in the HEIs of Cyprus and the Military Schools of Greece are expected during the first ten days of July.

Answering a question, Mr. Chandriotis said that the test essay is corrected by two assessors with covered data, one assessor does not see what grade the other gave and then if there is a 10% difference or less between the two assessors, then the final grade is the average of those two.

"If it is higher, then the scores are covered again and it goes for re-grading by a third grader and then it is the average of those three," he added.

Asked about how the examination process went so far, Mr. Chandriotis said that everything went smoothly.

Asked about the operation of the Special Training Centers for cases and contacts, Mr. Chandriotis said that everything worked perfectly with the Special Training Centers.
