The frigate of the US Navy USS Cole sailed to the port of Limassol. The information was announced in a post on Twitter by the US Embassy in Cyprus, which states:
"The USS Cole arrived in Limassol last week for a scheduled naval visit, during the operations of the US 6th Fleet.
"The United States is proud to contribute to Peace and Stability in the Eastern Mediterranean."
