A 32-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her 29-year-old partner in Limassol on Tuesday afternoon after an argument, as a result of which she was transported to the hospital.

According to the police, yesterday afternoon an ambulance rushed to an area of ​​Limassol to pick up a 29-year-old injured man. The man was found to have been stabbed, so the police were informed.

From the investigations that followed, it was found that the 29-year-old man was injured by his 32-year-old partner who had visited him at his workplace and after an intense discussion between them, she pulled out a knife and injured him.

The members of the police who went to the scene, arrested the woman for a self-inflicted crime of stabbing as a knife was found in her possession. The woman was taken to the police, where she allegedly confessed to the crime and was taken into custody. In the morning, she is expected to be brought before the Limassol District Court for a detention order.

The victim underwent surgery and is being treated at the Limassol hospital, while it is considered that he is out of danger.
