The president of the Pancyprian Federation of Leisure Center Owners Associations (OSIKA) Neophytos Thrasyvoulou is in favor of the continuation of the strict measures on the issue of the operation of the leisure centers, in case the epidemiological situation in Cyprus continues to deteriorate.
In his statements to KYPE, Mr. Thrasyvoulou noted that it is preferable to avoid extending the opening hours of leisure centers during the Christmas period, in order to make a better preparation and a smooth start of the tourism industry in view of the summer season and beyond. period.
Mr. Thrasyvoulou characterized the situation, with the phrase "front cliff and back stream", noting that we must not forget that we are a tourist country and that everyone's goal is to start the tourist season as smoothly as possible, with discharge from the COVID pandemic- 19.
