Plans to subsidize the purchase of pure electric vehicles and the retirement of old vehicles will be announced very soon.
Speaking to Trito, the Director General of the Ministry of Transport, Yiannis Nikolaidis, said that the announcement of the two plans is expected within the next two weeks.
He emphasized that approximately two to two and a half thousand applications will be accepted. He also noted that applications should be submitted online.
Mr. Nikolaidis pointed out that the beneficiaries will be selected by electronic lottery, if the applications exceed the number of available grants.
