Evidence that the unfortunate 16-year-old student who died at a youth birthday party in Larnaca District on the night of Saturday, April 13, was a victim of bullying holds Aalpha ltd.
In the pictures taken around the end of March and we deliberately choose not to show in full clarity, a group of young people can be seen, behaving in different incidents in a derogatory and offensive way, which in some cases went beyond the limits of youthful jokes.

In the first video, a young man is seen abruptly pulling the chair in which the 16-year-old is sitting, as a result of which he falls to the ground and hits his head on the wall. The video was taken by an eyewitness and other people were at the scene.
In the second video, the unfortunate student appears to be sleeping with his head turned on a table. An unknown person puts a burning tissue in his hand, as a result of which he is thrown in terror due to the fire. Laughter from attendees follows.
In a third video, a group of young people amid cheers, motivates the 16-year-old student to consume alcohol in large quantities and in a short period of time.
All this at a time when the Police is continuing its investigations into the causes of death of the unfortunate student and while the President of the Confederation of Parents of Secondary Education expressed the previous days the hope that what is heard about the tragic end of the 16-year-old will not be confirmed.
Alpha Cyprus News Director George Kaskanis stated that the goal of publishing the images, which is done with absolute respect to the family of the unfortunate child, is to contribute to the efforts to combat the phenomenon of school bullying. He also stressed that the station is at the disposal of the investigating authorities investigating the specific case, in terms of the provision of the specific audiovisual material.
