The state covers all the expenses for the treatment of little Antonis abroad. Antonis, 22 months old, suffers from a rare disease and needs, as it became known, 2 million euros for specialized treatment in the USA.
President Anastasiadis recently wrote on twitter:
"I am happy because after consultation with the Minister of Health and his own actions, the cost of treatment of little Antonis can be covered entirely by the state. With my warmest wishes for a speedy recovery and strength in his family, I want to thank all the people who in the difficult moment embraced little Antonis and his parents ".
