The Cyprus Youth Organization organizes online workshops "The transition to a new school environment".
"With these workshops we want to help parents prepare their child for the important and special experience of going from kindergarten to elementary school and respectively from elementary school to high school."
The workshops are aimed at parents and will be conducted online through an electronic platform. After registration the link will be sent to those who register.
On Tuesday, September 7, from 18: 00-20: 00, there will be a workshop "The transition of my child from kindergarten to primary school", while on Wednesday, September 8, from 18: 00-20: 00, "My child's transition from elementary school to high school."
The aim of the workshops is through an interactive way to discuss:
- the role of parents in the transition and school adaptation of children
- parents' concerns about the transition
- what children think and feel about the transition
- what children need to adapt to the new reality and how parents can effectively help their children adapt to the school environment
