Test to Stay: Suffering for students and parents - The Ministry of the Interior apologizes
In many places where sampling tests are performed for the test to stay, company executives never appeared
Suffering for parents and students prevailed on Monday morning (31/01) since in many places where sampling tests are performed for the test to stay, company executives never appeared.
Specifically, students who are contact contacts waited for hours at the points without any result.
According to information, problems occurred in schools in the province of Limassol, Nicosia and Larnaca.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health states that this is due to the detection of cases and close contacts with officials who staff the sampling units.
The Ministry of Health, as stated in the announcement, immediately channeled the students to neighboring schools and sent reserve units to the affected areas. The Ministry apologizes for the suffering suffered by parents and students as a result of these circumstances, while the coordination actions are intensified for the further increase of sampling points in the school units.
It is reminded that today at 15:00 a wide-ranging meeting will be held at the Ministry of Finance, which will be attended by the Ministers of Health and Education and will be attended by educational organizations, parents' confederations and other stakeholders.
The meeting is expected to address the issue of anti-protocols COVID-19 in schools and especially the measure of test to stay.
