"Stingier" fine for a 24-year-old hunter

Paphos Police imposed an extrajudicial fine of 2.000 euros on a 24-year-old for a hunting case without the relevant permit.

According to the Police, yesterday members of the Thira Fund stopped for control a foreign resident of the village of Paphos Province, aged 24, who was hunting with a shotgun at a location in Kato Arodes.

The control carried out revealed that the 24-year-old was driving without a hunting license and was taken to the Pegeia police station, where the shotgun (DOKO) was received as evidence and 43 complete cartridges.

An extrajudicial fine of 24 euros was subsequently issued against the 2.000-year-old.
