The SafePass possession control measure, through the CovScan Cyprus application, will be implemented voluntarily and on a pilot basis from today, November 8th to November 22nd, and will then become mandatory, in order to provide the necessary time for adjustment and familiarization, through the process of both responsible for carrying out audits as well as citizens.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health states that with this arrangement, more citizens are given the opportunity to obtain in the form containing a QR code the European Digital Certificate COVID, which is used for SafePass purposes.
