A Famagusta District Court issued a four-day detention order today on a 20-year-old man who was arrested to facilitate investigations into an investigated child pornography case.
The investigation of the case started after information received from Europol, according to which, a user of a social networking page, allegedly uploaded a number of child pornography files on the internet, through his account.
The examinations of the Cybercrime Prosecution Branch provided a testimony against the 20-year-old, who was arrested yesterday with an arrest warrant.
The Cybercrime Prosecution Division is investigating the case.
