According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos, Michalis Ioannou, yesterday at 21:30, members of the YAM arrested a 32-year-old woman in Geroskipou for the self-inflicted crime of illegal stay in the Republic. The 32-year-old allegedly arrived in the Republic on 9.9.18 via Larnaca airport for a work permit as a domestic helper and was granted a residence and work permit until 14.3.21. She then did not renew her license and has since resided illegally in the Republic. He was then taken to the Paphos police headquarters and detained. Mr. Ioannou noted that the process for her deportation from the Republic is expected to be launched.

In another case, according to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou at 02:00 in the morning while members of the Paphos Police Department were on a motorized patrol on Agiou Antoniou Street in Kato Paphos and stopped a person coming out of a kiosk on the above street. .

On the same day and at 03:00 in the morning, members of the Paphos Police arrested the 22-year-old and he was taken into custody at the Paphos Central Police Station. YAM Paphos continues the exams.
