The AKEL District Committee of Famagusta announces its support for the independent candidate Mayor of Lysis, Andreas Kaouris.
Andreas Kaouris is 69 years old and has been the Mayor of Lysis for the last 7 years. He worked as a journalist and writer while since 1999 he publishes the newspaper "O Antilogos". He has been a member of the Editors' Association since 1972 and was a member of the Board of Directors for many years. He is a member of the Cyprus Publishers Association and was also a member of the Cyprus Sportswriters Association.
For #AKEL, Andreas Kaouris is the man who, with his experience as a Mayor and his love for Lysi, can play an important role both in continuing the struggle for a solution and reunification, and in maintaining the social fabric the solution.
