The State is considering the possibility of revising its refugee policy by separating it from the housing policy.
Speaking to the Third, Interior Minister Konstantinos Petridis said that considerations are being made for compensation due to the loss of use of occupied properties.
According to him, an annual compensation plan is being considered, which will cover even the refugees' heirs.
Asked about the issue that has arisen with the sewerage fees, Mr. Petridis said that consultations were held with the Parliament, and after the necessary formalities were completed, the bill will be put to a vote again next Friday. Therefore, he added, the Municipalities will be able to proceed with the collection of sewerage fees.
