Presidential candidate George Lillikas considers the requests of the Police Association for working hours and salary scales to be absolutely justified.
Speaking after a meeting with a delegation of the Police Association, Mr. Lillikas called on the state to lift discrimination against members of the security forces and to treat them on an equal footing with other civil servants.
At the same time, he said, it is the duty of the state to fulfill the provision of insurance for their physical integrity.
The president of the Police Association, Kyriakos Charalambous, thanked George Lillikas for his full and timeless support.
