The bones of the heroes of Phaethon are transported to Greece

The remains of the five Greeks who fell of the coastal "Phaethon", who sacrificed their lives during the bombing of Tillyria in 1964, by the Turks, are transported to Greece at twelve noon.

These are the flag bearer Panagiotis Chrysoullis, the lieutenants, Spyridon Agathos and Nikolaos Panagos and the sailors, Panagiotis Theodoratos and Nikolaos Kapadoukas.
A C-27 transport aircraft of the Greek Air Force, which is making a special flight to Cyprus, will receive the remains of the heroes.
Before departure, a modest ceremony will take place at the old Larnaca airport, during which honors will be given to the fallen of "Phaethon" and a trishagio will be performed. Present at the ceremony will be the relatives of the heroes, who received yesterday the remains of their loved ones. Also present will be the Deputy Minister of National Defense of Greece, Dimitrios Vitsas and the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Fotis Fotiou.
