While the Turks announce through the Sabah newspaper that by the end of the year Turkey will receive the "Deepsea Metro-2", capable of deep drilling, and will send it to the Cypriot EEZ to start activities, the Government is celebrating its supposed achievements, but it does not tell us what is its policy of deterring to this provocative attitude ".
This is stated in a statement by the President of Solidarity, Eleni Theocharous, and adds: "Turkey has found suitable ground to claim in the EEZ and to build its threat, through the benevolent policy of the Government which collapsed."
"The only explanation one can give for the apathetic attitude of the government is one: the government knows that it will soon be dead because it is not going to be re-elected, and therefore it now bears its own responsibilities and negligence in the next government. "We know very well what we are going to do!", Mrs. Theocharous concludes.
