The weapons of the Turkish Mujahideen, with which they fought for 15 years, were sent by Turkey, said the Turkish Minister of Finance at a rally in Denizli, Turkey, who characterized as degenerate traitors those who accuse Turkey of sending weapons to terrorists in Syria.
"Those who should be ashamed are these degenerate traitors who stopped the trucks and sent the images around the world with cameras in their hands," he said.
"In 1974 the Turkish soldiers went to Cyprus like lions. Of course they went to Cyprus like lions. But there the mujahideen had fought for 15 years. Did they fight with bats? Did they fight holding sticks in their hands? They fought with weapons. Where did these come from? This great nation sent them. They were sent by the state of this great nation. When you are a great nation and a great state, you do some things. "This degenerate says you sent them to the terrorists," said the Turkish minister.
