Cyprus and Greece will sign three memoranda of cooperation

Three memoranda of cooperation on maritime, cultural and environmental issues are expected to be signed between Cyprus and Greece, on the sidelines of the Tripartite Cyprus-Greece-Jordan Summit, next Tuesday in Nicosia.


According to KYPE, the Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras will be accompanied during his visit to Nicosia by four Ministers, namely the Deputy Minister of European Affairs George Katrougalos, the Minister of Shipping Panagiotis Kouroumblis, the Minister of Environment and Environment Lydia Koniordou.

The Greek delegation is expected to arrive in Larnaca on Tuesday morning and will precede the Jordanian mission, which will be led by King Abdnala II.

Bilateral contacts, consultations and a working lunch will follow, while the Joint Declaration of the meeting will be issued.

The statements of the three leaders, the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis, the Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras and the King of Jordan Abdalla II are scheduled for 2pm.

The departure of the Greek delegation is expected to take place early Tuesday afternoon.
