The new Porsche Macan, the "Baby Cayenne" as it was named, will have three versions: Macan S, Macan S Diesel & Macan Turbo, while its maximum horsepower will reach 400 "horses"!
A few hours before the debut in Los Angeles and Tokyo, the images of the new Porsche Macan saw the light of day, while the technical details of the new German crossover were leaked. More specifically, the Porsche Macan, the "little Cayenne", as it has been characterized, will be 1.898 kg in its lightest diesel version (Maca S Diesel), while its dimensions are 4.675 mm. its length, 1.923 mm. its width and 1.628 mm. the height. Also, its wheelbase is at 2.807 mm, as in the Audi Q5, with which it uses the same platform.
As for its versions, there will be three available. The Macan S, which will be equipped with a V6 3-liter engine with 340 hp and 460 Nm of torque, which will allow this SUV to catch 100 from a standstill at 5,2 dl. and reach a top speed of 254 km / h.
On the other hand, the Macan S Diesel will also have a V6 3 liter diesel engine, which will deliver 258 hp and 580 Nm of torque, while it will need 6,2 dl. for 0-100 and will reach 226 km / h final.
Finally, the "top" version of the Macan Turbo will be powered by a 6 liter V3,6. dual supercharged engine, 400 hp and 550 Nm of torque, which will "send" the crossover to 4,6 dl. at 100 km / h and will catch up to 269 km / h. All versions will be combined with 4-wheel drive, while the transmission of the drive will be done through the Porsche PDK gearbox.
