The Pancyprian Hoteliers Association (PASYXE) welcomes the new measures to support the economy and employment, announced in the framework of yesterday's speech by the President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis, noting that all members who have exhausted the margins for exploiting the measures will be exhausted. , in order to be able to operate as many hotels as possible during the current tourist season, aiming for a dynamic start for next year.

In a statement, PASYXE said that in this very difficult time and in the face of the difficulties posed to the Cypriot economy, the government listened to the needs of businesses and the self-employed, adding that the package of measures announced largely corresponds to the difficulties. every business today.

In particular, regarding the measures to support the tourism sector and restore the connectivity of Cyprus, he expressed the belief that it will give the necessary impetus to restart the tourism industry, to become competitive again, supporting the recovery.
