Lamb with baked potatoes

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 2 kg lamb leg
  • 1 1 / 2-2 kg potatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • 2 red peppers cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves
  • 1/3 of a cup of olive oil
  • 4-5 medium cloves of garlic

Implementation

  1. In a bowl, put salt, pepper, oregano. Mix them well and cut the garlic in half.
  2. With a small knife, make holes in the lamb and with your finger put a little of the salt and pepper mixture in each hole and then half a clove of garlic. Do the same until all the garlic is done.
  3. Sprinkle the meat with salt, pepper, oregano and place the potatoes together with the peppers in the pan around the lamb.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil, lightly season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with oregano and rosemary leaves.
  5. Pour a little hot water on the bottom of the pan and cover it with foil. Bake at 180 degrees with top and bottom resistance for about 1 hour.
  6. Uncover it and cook for another 30 minutes in the air for about XNUMX minutes, until the lamb and potatoes are golden brown.
