Ingredients for 8-10 people
- 1 packet of puff pastry
- 250 grams of yellow cheese grated from the thick part of the grater
- 200 grams of mushrooms
- 40 grams of roasted pine nuts
- 4-5 tablespoons white wine
- 2 red onions cut into slices, finely chopped
- 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1-2 tablespoons mixed fresh chopped herbs (thyme, basil, parsley)
Implementation
- First take the puff pastry out of the freezer or refrigerator and let it thaw.
- Cut the puff pastry sheets into square discs and fold the edges slightly inwards to create pockets.
- In essence, you shape the dough and make square individual pizzas in any dimension you wish.
- With these ingredients you can make about 20 individual pizzas.
- Pour half of the olive oil in a non-stick pan, turn on the heat and wait for it to heat up.
- Once warm, add the mushrooms and sauté.
- Add 4-5 tablespoons of white wine and season with salt and pepper.
- Let the mushrooms boil for 10 minutes with the wine until the liquids evaporate completely.
- At this time, remove from the heat and pour the chopped fresh herbs into the pan.
- Then let the mushrooms cool.
- In another pan, pour the remaining olive oil and once heated, sauté the onion rings.
- Once sautéed, place them on a plate with absorbent paper towels which will absorb the large amount of oil and the onions will not be so greasy.
- Spread a little mustard, a few mushrooms and a quantity of grated yellow cheese on each piece of puff pastry.
- Finally, place 3-4 onion slices on top.
- Preheat the oven.
- Bake the individual pizzas in the oven at 170 degrees for about 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
- Garnish optionally with the roasted pine nuts and serve.
