- 250 gr. fine semolina
- 400 gr. flour for all uses and a little extra for the utensil
- 10 eggs
- 250 g sugar
- 500 ml of fresh milk
- 60 gr. baking powder
- zest of 1 orange, whole
- 400 gr. almond, in powder
- 1 vanillin
- 300 gr. cow butter, melted and a little extra to spread on the pan
- 1 liter of water
- 100 ml glucose syrup
- 1 kg of sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- juice of 1½ orange
- Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Put the eggs and sugar in the bucket of the mixer and beat them until fluffy.
- Add the milk slowly and then all the other ingredients, leaving the butter for the end.
- Continue beating until a smooth mixture is formed.
- Butter and flour the pan and spread the mixture inside. Bake for about 25-30 minutes.
- In a saucepan, pour all the ingredients for the syrup at the same time and boil until it sets.
- Remove the cinnamon, take the pan out of the oven and immediately syrup the dessert with the hot syrup. Allow the almond pie to cool and serve.
For the syrup
