In the afternoon, the scientific advisory committee on the coronavirus meets, under the Minister of Health, to review data related to the pandemic, after the outbreak of cases in China.
An announcement from the Ministry of Health states that the meeting will take place at 3 pm and after its end statements will be made.
The meeting will review the data and assess whether any measures should be taken, which are expected to be presented to the Council of Ministers for approval on Wednesday.
As everything shows and based on what other EU countries are doing, if measures are taken in Cyprus, they will concern PCR tests for travelers arriving from China and the use of masks by all passengers arriving in Cyprus by air .
