As part of the Quarterly Theatrical Performances, the Municipality of Ayia Napa hosts the "Dentro" Theater and the theatrical Performance "The method of Dr. Palomero ", on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 20:00.
The play is based on the play "Tok-tok" by Laurent Buffy and will take place at the Municipal Amphitheater of Ayia Napa.
A few words about the project:
The world-famous Spanish doctor Palomero, who specializes in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder, visits his clinic in Paris once a month to examine his patients. Six patients are waiting for him in the waiting room of the doctor's office, who have been waiting for many months to make the coveted appointment with him.
Frederick suffers from coprolalia, Allen suffers from arithmetic mania, Cadit suffers from microbiophobia, Marie suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, Lily suffers from palliative care, and Otto suffers from gramophobia. The time passes and the doctor does not show up.
His assistant informs the patients that the doctor's flight from Madrid is delayed, but that the doctor will definitely come. Patients, having nothing else to do, decide to break the boredom and embarrassment of waiting: they discuss their problem, get to know each other better and confess their anxieties and desires to each other.
A crazy carousel of fears, desires and emotions, which will lead to an unexpected and moving finale.
