Great celebration of today's since the 27th of August is the day that celebrates and honors the Agios Fanourios.
Every year on this day, the Churches are filled with the smell of Lantern pies. According to tradition, Fanuropita is made not for the Saint himself, but for the salvation of his mother's soul.
