The Meteorological Service issued a yellow warning for extremely high temperatures from 13.00 until 17.00 on Monday.
According to the warning, the maximum temperature will rise to around 41 degrees inland and around 32 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.
High temperatures pose health risks to vulnerable groups such as the elderly and young children, it said.
