A new first for the Greek Olympian and World Champion in the long jump, Milto Tendoglou, and a gold medal in the European Indoor Athletics held in Istanbul.

In the first jump, Miltos Tedoglou entered very strongly and reached 8,30.

In the second jump, the Greek athlete reached 8.16m. but he didn't like his performance as shown by the 'disappointment' face he made.

The third jump was deemed invalid, while it is estimated that it was over 8,40, without this of course being important.

In the fourth jump, obviously affected by the previous invalidation, he pushed back a lot and did 8,05.

Then at 8,07m. the fifth jump of Miltos Tedoglou was measured, with the Greek athlete showing his knee to his coach.

In the last sixth attempt and while everything had been decided, he jumped 8.29m.

With this victory, Miltos Tedoglou becomes the only long jumper in European championships to win three consecutive gold medals in indoor track and field.
