The Skoda Cyprus Gran Fondo was part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series for semi-professionals and amateur cyclists. 603 athletes from 30 countries participated. They were the most cyclists who ever participated in a race in Cyprus. The awards were made at the Castle of Paphos on Sunday afternoon (31/3), in the presence of Mr. Leontios Tselepos, member of the Board. of the COM.

In the women, the Polish Alina Mylka kept the yellow jersey she had taken on Saturday (30/3). Second was the Russian Anastasia Chulkova who runs with APOEL and third was the British Rebecca Johnson.

In the team, the winner in the Mixed category (Men - Women) was APOEL. ELITE Cycling won for the men and Malta for the women.

In Sportive, the most beginners who competed in all three days in Road Race (Experts had individual time in the first day), first in Men was the Belarusian Vroublevski Sergey, followed by the Russians Roman Paramonov and Maksim Eltsov, second and third, respectively. In the Sportive women, Yiulia Polevaya from Russia won, followed by Lillian Choy (Great Britain) and Polina Razbitskaya (Russia).

The Skoda Cyprus Gran Fondo has issued dozens of qualifying cards for the UCI Gran Fondo World Series finals to be held in Poznan, Poland in September. Among the athletes who qualified were several Cypriots.

With 200+ Russians in the race, the event was also part of a Russian cycling championship.
