SUMMARY
Thessaloniki, 1943. The first trains to Auschwitz start from the old Thessaloniki Station. "Ouzeri Tsitsanis", Pavlou Mela 22, works in the center of the occupied city, in the eye of the storm. Poor people, Mavargorites and fighters found joy listening to the still unknown songs of Tsitsanis, who in all this nightmare, perhaps because of him, composes his best songs. In this shop, some of Tsitsanis' most favorite songs were heard for the first time, inspired by the anxieties and difficult lives of everyday people.

CURRICULUM VITAE OF SIMOS KAKALA
Simos Kakalas was born in 1973 in Thessaloniki. A graduate of the Drama School of the State Theater of Northern Greece, he took his first steps in the theater as an actor, until he turned to directing, presenting with the Theater Company Space temperamental performances that caused a sensation. Among them are the manga version in "Golfo" by Sp. Peresiadis, the improvised "Melted Butter" by S. Serefas (Praise of Direction 2008, Greek Critics Association) and "Erofili" by G. Chortatsis with only three female actors in a recital of narrative skill.
In the summer of 2012, as part of the Greek Festival, Simos Kakalas presented at the ancient theater of Epidaurus the play "Exercise Epidaurus-Sissimon", a staple of fragments of the three leading ancient tragedies, as well as lyrics from the poetry collection "Sissimon or Ta Chapters "by Nikos Panagiotopoulos. He returns to Epidaurus in 2015 with "Orestes" by Euripides, to be followed in 2017 by the post-cabaret of "Greek Freak" and in 2018 by theatricality in the classic novel by Emily Brodeur "Windy Heights". This season he has directed for the National Theater Bertolt Brecht's "The Immersion of the Selfish Johann Fatser" and for the Alternative Stage of the National Opera the opera "The Kerenia Doll" by Tassos Rosopoulos, based on Konstantos Christos.
