An event that aims to highlight the traditional element of our place through various artistic events, dance, song, gastronomy and exhibition of Cypriot professions. A Festival that attracts thousands of visitors every summer and has succeeded in becoming an institution in the cultural events of the province of Famagusta.
The Festival will take place on Thursday, July 7 at 19.00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Holy Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior, and will include a traditional feast with the popular traditional singer Vasiliki Hatziadamou, accompanied by renowned musicians.
The program will also include plenty of food and drink, tasting of traditional dishes, presentation of tsiattists by folk poets, exhibition of traditional professions, and demonstration of traditional dances by dance ensembles of the Municipality of Sotira.

Vasiliki Hatziadamou, who has been keeping us company for 11 years through her successful TV and radio shows, returns to the concert events with her collaborators. A range of renowned musicians, who have collaborated with the biggest names of the Greek music scene. The song features Savvas Lagou, Veronika Aloneftou and George Papasolomontos.
The program is a musical journey into the tradition and roots of Greek song. It includes music that will be based on the Folk - Traditional music of Cyprus and the sounds that have influenced it, such as music from Polis, Smyrna, Central Greece and the Aegean Tradition, as well as songs by great composers and lyricists of the Greek pentagram. .
