"I saw this happen for the first time in the 18 years I have been working," the nurse said.
Although they were scheduled to give birth two days apart, nature had other plans for the cousins to celebrate on the same day as their mothers.
The 23-year-old twin sisters in Fresno entered the delivery process at about the same time, giving birth less than an hour apart, and were originally scheduled to give birth two days apart.
Bao Nhia Julia Yang and Bao Kou Julie Yang, celebrated their birthday together as twins they were now and his daughters will celebrate together.
One of the two said, I started in pain and I knew I was going to give birth. I told my sister. And she told me that she had some aches and that she could give birth.
And so it happened, on Sunday night at the Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno they both gave birth.
"They had incredible timing," said Laura Schleicher, a nurse who saw this happen for the first time in her 18 years.
But their date of birth is not the only common one as they weigh almost the same.
