A very healthy baby was born on Friday afternoon, with police and firefighters performing midwifery duties in the middle of Kifissia Avenue.
As can be seen in the photos published by CNN Greece, the car with the ready mother was immobilized on Kifissias and at that time a passing fire truck stopped to see what was happening.
Firefighters were returning from an incident and found that there was a woman in the car ready to give birth.
They also notified the police, while at the same time they called an EKAB ambulance.
As it turned out, however, the baby was quite "hurried". As soon as a doctor and an ambulance arrived and saw that they did not manage to transport the woman to the hospital, police and firefighters helped the doctor to give birth.
The woman has now been taken to hospital to receive any medical help she needs.
