Those who practice and trust feng shui know that the layout in the house plays a big role. It is therefore considered that

More specifically, according to the principles of feng shui all things have a specific place in the house that serve a specific purpose beyond that for which they were created to serve. The same applies to the structural layout of the spaces.

Here are three things to look out for in feng shui…

# 1 The fake flowers

If you want to have flowers or plants in your home then these should be real. Plants in the house help the movement of qi and thus good energy. Prefer large plants such as lilies, bamboo and some others called Jade. If your house is small, choose a smaller plant. Make sure your plants are healthy and well watered and they will reciprocate. Fake flowers are considered a source of negative energy.

# 2 The door lock

Feng Shui says that we should not block the field of view towards doors or windows. If you have placed seats or sofas with your back to the points of energy entry, block its flow.

# 3 Brooms and mops outside the home

According to feng shui, brooms and mops can carry some of the negative energy they expel, so be sure to keep all these cleaning tools outside the house, ideally locked in a cupboard and even in an upside down position. Take care of the cupboard in which you store your cleaners, e.g. dusters, etc., not to be in the area where you eat, as the dining room symbolizes food and prosperity - you do not want to "cleanse" these elements from your life. However, they should not be kept at the entrance of the house either.
