Usually every wedding starts with the best of intentions and with the prospect of lasting a lifetime. It is not uncommon, however, for a couple to be separated and divorced.
The reasons that lead to a divorce can be various but experts, psychologists and marriage counselors have come up with the three most common causes that lead a couple to divorce.
See what they…
1. Oppression
Both people in a relationship need time and space for themselves. When these begin and are lost then come the problems and the desire for freedom. A marriage requires mutual trust and understanding and above all to leave each other freedoms so that they do not end up asking for them outside of marriage.
2. Parents and generally third parties
Marriage counselor Laurie Sue Brockway has stated: "Some couples are very sensitive to divisive forces - especially when one of the spouses has grown up in a family with very close ties." Influence from third parties or for example from one of the parents can create serious problems for the couple so they should limit their privacy.
3. Sex comes second
A healthy sex life is a key factor for a balanced marriage. "If the sexual life of the spouses is not healthy, divorce is a strong possibility", says the expert and adds: "Sex is a barometer of the connection between the two spouses. "Their sexual relationship is a very important factor of stability and harmony."
