A 4-year-old boy is being examined at Makareio Hospital in Nicosia as a suspected case of coronavirus.
According to the Director of Pediatrics of the hospital, Dr. Abraham Elias, the 4-year-old came in contact with a confirmed case a few days ago and yesterday he went to the hospital after he developed a fever.
The 4-year-old was transported around 10:00 pm to Makareio and immediately entered the negative pressure chamber, for the purpose of sampling.
His state of health is quite good but he is in isolation until the results of his sample are extracted.
If the results are negative, the 4-year-old boy will be discharged.
