A 24-year-old man was arrested for a phone call about a bomb in the village of Famagusta

A 24-year-old Limassol resident was arrested on a warrant and remanded in custody to facilitate investigations into an investigated case of a false phone call about a bomb and public damage.

The phone call was made on April 30, 2019, at the Emergency Line, by a man who allegedly reported that bombs had been placed in the vehicles of two people, in the province of Famagusta.

TAE Famagusta is investigating the case.
