The Aliens and Immigration Service (YAM) arrested three people as part of a coordinated operation carried out on Thursday, in Paphos, to identify and arrest illegally staying foreigners.
According to the Assistant Police Director of Paphos Operations, Michalis Nikolaou, on the morning of April 11, YAM members carried out checks in the center of Paphos as well as in the Geroskipou area.
During the operation, three persons were arrested for illegally staying on the territory of the Republic, Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE.
In conclusion, he said that their deportation procedures are on track.
