In view of the announced protest in Deryneia that triggered the illegal action of Turkey to extend the use of part of the coastal city of the enclosed city of Famagusta, violating the International Law and the UN Security Council Resolutions, and all Cypriots, the Ministry of Health appeals for the observance of the precautionary measures against the coronavirus.
In particular, the measures in force that must be observed by the organizers and attendees are the following:
- Use of a mask by all people taking part in the demonstration.
- Observance of measures of physical distance between the protesters at 1,5 m.
- It is forbidden to share brochures / any documents.
- The presence of street vendors / kiosks is prohibited.
- The organizer of the demonstration is called to remain in cooperation with the Cyprus Police, in order to ensure the correct observance of the measures in the demonstration.
The Ministry of Health calls on all people who will attend today's event to be very careful and to adhere to the measures, to protect their health in the first place.
